Tracheostomy Tube

Tracheostomy Tube - A tracheostomy tube, or "trach tube", is a 2-inch to 3-inch-long curved metal or plastic tube placed in a surgically-created opening (tracheostomy) in the windpipe to keep it open. There are several types of tracheostomy tubes, depending on the requirements of the patient.

  • Made of thermosensitive medical grade PVC which provide sufficient hardness during insertion.
  • Being light in weight & non irritant it avoids the inflammation around tracheostomy.
  • Soft flexible flange helps easy fixation.
  • 15mm connector can be rotated in 360 degree direction & facilitates the safe connection to breathing system from any direction.
  • Supplied with cotton neck tape.

  • Made of thermosensitive material which softens at body temperature to accomodate individual patient anatomy.
  • Soft low pressure cuff dynamically adjusts the pressure at the point of contact during the breathing cycle.
  • Thus minimizes the risk of tracheal trauma & other complications.
  • Pilot balloon with non return valve facilitates the cuff inflation & deflation.
  • Radio opaque blue line enable to confirm the correct placement of the tube in trachea.
  • Soft & flexible flange provided with inner & outer diameter sizes.
  • Standard 15mm connector confirms to ISO standards, can rotate 360 degree & enable access to the anaesthetic circuit from any direction.
